A Letter From The Owner;

Dear Valued Customer,

Thank you for taking the time to look into our products. Lester Furniture Manufacturing, Inc. is a forth generation company that started with Mr. E. B. Harrelson in 1939. He instilled in his grandson a high standard of the old time quality that goes into each piece of furniture made today. From this standard, I have taken the best of the old and combined it with the best of today’s new products and created the highest quality of furniture you can buy. However, new furniture components are invented daily. We constantly look at each and every one of the products, evaluate, and test them to see if they meet the high standard of quality you have come to expect.

All of our employees are highly educated craftsmen with the desire to maintain the integrity I have set forth for my company. As a team, Lester Furniture Manufacturing, Inc. will always strive to make the highest quality of furniture for you the designer and your clients.

Once again, thank you for your interest in our company.  I look forward to doing business with you.

Best Regards,

John Lester

Fun Facts:
In 1626, Charles I of England granted a Royal Charter to officially incorporate the first trade guild in upholstery, the Worshipful Company of Upholders. This is one of the Livery Companies of the City of London. “Upholder” is an archaic word for “upholsterer”. In past times upholders carried out not just the manufacture and sale of upholstered goods but were cabinet makers, undertakers, soft furnishers, auctioneers and valuers. The organization was formed on 1 March 1360 and officially incorporated by a Royal Charter granted by Charles I in the 1626. The Company originally had the right to set standards for upholstery within London, and to search, seize and destroy defective upholstery. The organizations purpose today is; “To Uphold the livery of the Upholders, ensuring it continues to flourish. Upholding the craft of the Upholder and through charitable giving uphold individuals and organizations connected with our trade and Livery.”
